What will you learn in this training?
In this lesson we are going to talk about the basics of astrology. Where is it from? How did people come up with the idea that there was a connection between events on Earth and planetary positions? And how does that work? What can astrology tell you about who you are, what your motivations are, why you make certain choices?
In this lesson we will get to know the most interesting horoscope: the birth chart, a blueprint of your personality. You will also calculate your own horoscope in a simple way (via the Happinez website).
The zodiac does not consist of just twelve randomly chosen symbols. There is a thought and a structure behind it. In this lesson you will get to know that structure. This lays the foundation for the interpretation of a horoscope.
In this lesson we will explore the characteristics of the twelve zodiac signs. If you already know more about astrology, these characterizations may seem (partly) familiar to you. You may also learn surprising properties of the zodiac signs. In the previous lesson we discussed the different ways in which you can classify the twelve signs of the zodiac. In this lesson we will expand the story of the characters so that they 'come to life' more.
In this lesson we will become more acquainted with the planets. You learn which 'subpersonality' in you they represent and how they charge their energy with the sign they are in.
In this lesson you will be introduced to aspects. This means the contact that planets make with each other, and what this means for your personality.
In this lesson you will be introduced to the astrological houses. These are the parts of the horoscope that relate to concrete areas of life, such as work, relationships or family background.
This lesson consists mainly of exercises – and some repetition of what you learned in the previous lessons – because we are going to analyze a horoscope. We do this using an example horoscope - that of 'the birth' of Happinez, the moment the first edition was in stores. You are meant to go through the same steps with your own horoscope.
Why this training?
Self-knowledge is one of the greatest treasures a person can possess. To get to know yourself you sometimes need a different perspective, a new way of looking at yourself. This training helps you to view yourself and situations from a distance, putting on different (astrological) glasses. By delving deeper into your birth chart, you reveal patterns, secrets, pitfalls and talents of your own that you might not otherwise have discovered.
About astrologer Johanna Blok
Johanna Blok has been an astrologer since she was fifteen and Happinez's resident astrologer. 'As an insecure teenager, I wondered if there was a way to predict the future. I got my first astrology book from the library and was immediately sold. The recognition I found in the planetary positions was enormous and over the years I drew a lot of comfort and wisdom from my horoscope in difficult moments.'
