And then the journalists and writers, the golden boys Jan de Hartog, Henk Lunshof, Godfried Bomans, Michel van der Plas, Cees Nooteboom, Gerard Reve, Harry Mulisch, Ferry Hoogendijk, WF Hermans, Rik Kuethe and cartoonist Jo Spier.

This book was published on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of EW , the first issue of which appeared on October 27, 1945.
