At Flow we have known for a long time that making something with your hands is a nice way to slow down. It ensures that you step out of that busy thinking mind because you are focused on one thing. In addition, we now spend so much time behind screens that we sometimes really long to be creative. But how do you start? This online Paper Love training will help you.

Eight lessons on paper fun
This year we created our 10th Book for Paper Lovers, celebrating our love for paper. Flow crafters Erika Harberts (Mikodesign) and Lisa Manuels (Elle Aime) together came up with eight projects to make with the paper from this Book for Paper Lovers. You can take the lessons on your own, at a time that suits you. For example, divide them over four afternoons or evenings. Or do them all in a row when you're just in a flow. What is also possible: organize a crafternoon or craft night and get started with a group of friends. This way you can help and inspire each other and it's fun too.

What do you get?

  • Eight videos in which Erika and Lisa explain and demonstrate their craft projects step by step.
  • Includes a workbook (which you can download and print) with all lessons, steps and working drawings.
  • A training in the look and feel of Flow Magazine, created by a team of experts.

What are you learning?

What are you learning?
In eight lessons you will make eight different craft projects with paper from the Book for Paper Lovers.

Lesson 1: Mini-writing, by Erika Harberts
To write down beautiful words, make sketches or scribble notes: this mini notebook always fits in your bag.

Lesson 2: Mini writing pad, by Erika Harberts
Handy for writing down your messages or ideas, but also nice as a small gift.

Lesson 3: Envelopes, by Lisa Manuels
To store small things, such as notes, cards, dried flowers or Polaroids.

Lesson 4: Envelope fan, by Lisa Manuels
By sticking several envelopes together, a fan is created. You can, for example, fill it with (holiday) memories, such as (Polaroid) photos, notes, receipts, packaging and dried flowers.

Lesson 5: Storage folder, by Erika Harberts

Instax photos, entrance tickets, dried flowers: you can store all kinds of memories in this folder. Or use it as an envelope when you want to give someone money as a gift.

Lesson 6: Mini shopping bag, by Erika Harberts
Handy for wrapping small gifts. Or store the other craft projects in it.

Lesson 7: Gift bag, by Lisa Manuels
Instead of in loose paper, you can also wrap small gifts such as masking tape or stickers in this bag.

Lesson 8: Two Ways to Wrap a Gift, by Lisa Manuels
Almost every Book for Paper Lovers contains sheets of wrapping paper. In this video Lisa shows how you can use it to wrap a gift.
