School of Flow: Time for yourself
We often take good care of the people around us, but we forget about ourselves. Are we kind to others, but do we judge our own mistakes and imperfections more severely? We keep running and flying and feel guilty if we do nothing for a while.
In this training you will take care of yourself. You take the time to wonder how you are actually doing, take moments of rest and reflection, look at your automatic patterns and learn to be less critical of yourself. In short: this training helps you catch your breath.
What do you get?
- 7 days, 1 hour per day of theory, animated explainer videos and audio meditations
- exercises that you can do every day in the special downloadable workbook
- a course in the look and feel of Flow Magazine, created by a team of experts
The makers
This training was developed by Irene Smit, Ilse Savenije and Karin Hoens.
“I like to inspire people to make more conscious choices. In recent years I have studied behavior, attention, patterns and awareness through training as a mindfulness trainer at the Center for Mindfulness and training as a behavior changer at the Behavior Change Academy. Through this training I hope to encourage others to break through fixed patterns.”
Irene Smit , founder and creative director of Flow, mindfulness and behavioral expert
“I think the great thing about School of Flow is that as a Flow reader you can go one step further. Instead of 'just' reading, watching and being inspired on paper, you can actively work online and discover how to apply the insights you have gained in your daily life. Half of my heart belongs to paper, the other half to online. Because sometimes more is possible there; illustrations come to life in a video. And while you listen to a meditation, you transport yourself to another place with your eyes closed.”
Ilse Savenije , online learning specialist and online coordinator Flow
“I help you get moving, look at yourself from a place of peace. That can be exciting, vulnerable. It requires openness and courage. But the reward is great. You regain control over your own life, and with it freedom. Life can really be different: lighter, more fun, more relaxed.”
Karin Hoens , consciousness trainer and coach
