Truckstar edition 12 - 2023

We are on the eve of the elections and that is a puzzle every time, because what do we actually choose? At Truckstar we focus on what we all share: the future of road transport. In this issue we looked in the election manifestos of the various parties to see what they think about this. It is too early for conclusions, but Janna Groot of TLN notes: "The election programs are packed with ambitions about how we can make the Netherlands more beautiful, but nowhere does it say that more money should be spent on infrastructure." Anyway, the times will change. This also became clear during the presentation of the new eActros: it took some getting used to, to put it mildly.

Times have also changed for Tjalling 'Charlie' Dijkstra. From a life in fifth gear, of falling and getting back up again, to the quiet existence of today. He drives to France every week and his biggest worry on a driving day is where to eat in the evening.
