Truckstar edition 6 - 2024
It is now really happening: zero-emission zones will apply in no fewer than 29 municipalities as of January 1, 2025. While there has until now been a forest of regulations regarding the accessibility of freight traffic in the inner cities, the municipalities are surprisingly unanimous about the upcoming rules. We will have to wait and see to what extent exemptions and exceptions will become the rule, but it is a fact that the future will become more uncertain for many. This does not yet apply to the Scania 94G from 1999, which will get an extra year of respite in the city center of Arnhem, fortunately, because it only has three tons on the clock, as you can read in this issue. Tim Goderie Transport is busy with the future and smart solutions, which combines tipping and cranes with a separate crane. And in anticipation of the whole zero-emissions thing, Volvo introduces us to the FH Aero electric and for those who have no interest in the city: the FH16 Aero with 780 hp. You will find all this and much more in issue 6-2024 of Truckstar.
