Lesson 1 - What is Ayurveda?

You may have heard about pitta, kapha and vata, the three energy types in Ayurveda. You are probably also aware that Ayurveda has its origins in India. But what is actually the core of Ayurveda? You will discover that in this lesson. You will also do a simple meditation and complete a writing assignment in which you think about your goals for this training.

Lesson 2 - The principles of Ayurveda

Elements, doshas, ​​dhatus... in this lesson you will read all about the principles on which this health theory is based. Get to know these principles, together with a short meditation and a nice writing assignment.

Lesson 3 - The doshas + test: what is your dosha?

Vata, pitta and kapha: in the previous lesson you were already introduced to the doshas, ​​the three energy types. All three are part of you. Which dosha – or which two doshas – predominate for you? You will find out in this lesson, with an extensive test.

You will also discover which combinations are the most common, and most importantly: what your energy type says about you.

Lesson 4 - Nutrition according to Ayurveda

If you are not feeling well, nutrition in Ayurveda is your first point of attention. Not only when you are physically out of sorts, but also when things are not going so well mentally. According to Ayurveda, the body is the temple in which the soul lives. Food ensures the maintenance and cleansing of that temple: by eating differently, you will feel better physically and mentally. Lesson 5 - Take care of body and soul

In the previous lesson we discussed in detail what nutrition can do for your health. But an Ayurvedic lifestyle involves more than food and drink. In this lesson we will talk about other forms of self-care. What else does your body ask for? You discover how you move along with the day, what role movement can play in your life and what else you can do to feel better in the event of an imbalance.

Lesson 6 - Sexuality according to Ayurveda

We humans can only exist in connection with others, according to Ayurveda. And touch plays an important role in that connection. Sexuality is an essential need. Just like with nutrition and exercise, this need looks different for every constitution. In this lesson you will discover what sexuality means for vata, pitta and kapha and how you can enjoy it to the fullest.

Lesson 7 - Quiz: Test your knowledge about Ayurveda

In this last lesson we will connect the dots. We test the knowledge you have gained and give you tips to further explore the world of Ayurveda.
