WATCH History edition 6/7 - 2023

In this 100-page KIJK History you can read a special about the Vikings. Bloodthirsty, bearded robbers. That is still the image that many people have of the Vikings. Northerners did not always behave like choirboys when they visited Europe, but that brutal image is in need of an update. Not only because other peoples in the Middle Ages were not averse to violence, but especially because the Vikings were so much more than a plundering horde of pagans.
