Before you can help your coachee with his or her stress, you will have to recognize it. Especially when stressed becomes unhealthy. In this session you learn something the signals and you will receive a practical exercise to do together with your coachee .
Stress is not just annoying; it also has an important function. Knowing more about this is not only helpful for you, but also for your coach . In this session you will discover how stress works in the body and what its function is (and dysfunction) of it.
This additional in-depth information provides initial guidance on how to deal with stress. What works – and what doesn't work? As with many things in life, talking about it is one of the things that helps. This session is all about talking about it, or better yet: asking for help.
What makes us stressed? For most people it won't be one thing and there are various factors at play. Unfortunately, we cannot solve all of these factors. We all like to believe that it is the things themselves that cause us stress. Our thinking is however the bad guy. In this session you will discover where stress comes from and what stress can cause us. In addition, this session provides a direct link to practice.
Together you can do a lot more than alone. You probably don't think about the importance of the different people you have around you every day. A good time to go there to think about. This session also offers the opportunity to take the next step together with your coachee.
Besides the people around you, there are more things you can do to reduce stress. And what you can coach your coachee on and help with. This session focuses on lifestyle habits and their effect on stress.
Dolce far niente, as the Italians say. Either: Blissful doing nothing. Certainly not an unnecessary luxury. Because just being busy also brings a lot of unrest. While rest has a very important function.
