Training Your own coaching practice in 7 steps
Content of this training
You chose the coaching profession because you want to make a difference for other people. You may feel some resistance when thinking of yourself as an entrepreneur and all the tasks that come with it. You may even think that you are not suitable for entrepreneurship. Don't worry, because that's exactly what we're going to work on in this first step.
You ended up in this wonderful profession because you like to help people. And of course you don't want to exclude anyone. Divera tells you in this step why it is better to focus on a specific target group and specialize in it as a coach. You will then make important choices for your own practice.
What do you have to offer coachees? That seems like quite an exciting question. But after all the work you've done, you'll find that the answer isn't that difficult at all. Gradually you will come up with a product that fully matches your persona and what you want to achieve as a coach.
In this step you will discover how to find people who are interested in your product. Where can you meet them? And what do you tell them? And: as a coach you not only sell a product, but also yourself. Do you find that difficult? Then Divera has good tips for you.
If all goes well, after all the above you will realize that you can be of great value to a certain target group. But do you dare to express that value in money? That can be quite difficult. Divera will help you get over that hurdle, after which you will calculate an hourly rate that does justice to what you have to offer.
You now have a clear idea of what you have to offer as a coach and at what rate you want to offer your product. While you continuously let the outside world know, you can meanwhile put the business side of your company in order behind the scenes. In this step you do what is necessary.
With your own practice you have the freedom to make your own choices and work in a way that suits you. But it is also hard work. How do you do everything you can for a great company without losing yourself? That's what this last step is about.
