A narcissist is often compared to someone with an antisocial personality, also called a psychopath. Yet there is a difference in the way a narcissist and a psychopath interact with other people.
There are all kinds of extensive questionnaires that measure whether someone has narcissistic characteristics. Yet there is a much faster way to find out if someone is narcissistic.
The seeds of narcissism lie in childhood. But not everyone with a less than ideal childhood automatically becomes a narcissist later in life. In this session you will learn more about the causes.

You once fell head over heels for his charms and powerful, confident appearance. By now you also know the other side. How can you have a nice relationship with a narcissist?
Every parent wants their child to grow up safe and happy. And therefore not that his child is hurt by the narcissistic parent. What can you do to limit the damage? And is narcissism actually 'contagious'?
This last session is about changing people with narcissism. Because although they will not easily admit that they are doing something wrong, narcissists seek help more often than you would expect.
You now know what narcissism is and how it is characterized, but it can sometimes still be quite a challenge to deal with it in practice. That is why in this session you will practice giving advice to others.
