Training Strengthen your relationship
Contents of this online course
You will receive a brief introduction to the training, discover how to get the most out of the sessions and meet the expert of this training: relationship therapist Sue Johnson.
In this session you will learn that love is an emotional connection that you can shape yourself. That bond is influenced by the attachment styles that you and your partner developed earlier in your lives.
Partners often have mutual irritations, discussions or arguments that always follow the same pattern. With always the same, predictable ending. To make you despondent. In this session the focus is on recognizing and breaking these patterns.
Accepting that the other person is different is a challenge in every relationship. How can you appreciate others and feel connected to each other? In this session you will work with exercises from EFT and the new relationship therapy IBCT.
Couples who break up often give the reason as: 'We have grown apart.' What they usually mean is: we missed the emotional connection with each other. For every couple, whether satisfied or in doubt, it is essential to continuously strengthen the bond.
In the final session you will learn how to build on the solid foundation you have laid during this training, no matter what happens in your life.
